the story behind the art: The fiscal year at my job came to a close and then we started it all over again right after Thanksgiving. There were several changes happening within my business unit and others. The calendar year was also coming to an end. All of the changes reminded me of a quote from one of my favorite books The Outsiders — “Nothing gold can stay.”
