Community of Stars

The story behind the art: I have an unconventional view of community, and to articulate my view I wrote a poem called Stars that inspired this art piece. I wrote the poem after leaving a date where I knew very quickly that it wasn’t a match. During our conversation I felt what may have been slight judgment that I’m not “in” the queer scene. I’m not in any scene, to be honest. That’s never been how I roll.
